Step 1: Login to CPanel

Step 2: Take a full website backup

Backup your database:

*** If you only have 1 website, then you should only be seeing one database here.

Step 3: Go to phpMyAdmin

Step 4: Select the Correct Database

Hit the dropdown and click on your database

Step 5: Optimize the Database

Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on ‘Check tables having overhead'

Now hit the dropdown and choose ‘Optimize table'
