So how can you make money blogging? Once you have your blog sites up and running, there are a number of ways to start blogging for money and make money online.
1. Make money blogging with AdSense
Probably the Easiest & Quickest way to start making money from a blog! All you need to do is sign up for an AdSense account, and once you have been accepted into the program, simply grab the given code, paste it on your site and you're done!
So how do bloggers make money with AdSense? The AdSense code will start to show Ads on our blog, and when visitors to your blog click on those Ads, we get paid a total amount at the end of each month, straight into our bank account! It's 100% passive income, so whether you are on vacation, sleeping, working a full-time job, we get paid for those Ads on our site without having to lift a finger!
The great thing about AdSense is you are not selling anything, so it's not like an eCommerce website where you have to deal with customer queries, customer complaints, refunds, shipping, etc. So it really is purely passive income which is great! AdSense is one of the easiest ways to start blogging for money!
2. Sell Ads privately on your blog
When you have a website or blog online oftentimes you will get contacted by organizations asking if they can advertise directly on your site. 3. Including Affiliate Links on your blog
Affiliate marketing is another way you can monetize your blog. Here's how it works.
Let's say your blog was about dog training, and you are discussing a particularly useful dog bowl in your article, well the organization that makes the dog bowl in a lot of cases will be willing to pay you a commission on the sales you make if you link to them in the article.
To track your sales, the advertiser will give you a unique link that has the tracking code already in place. All you need to do is link to their product inside your blog, either in the form of a text link or banner Ad, and you are good to go!
4. Selling your own digital products/services
All the methods we have already mentioned involve promoting other peoples products or services, but what about your own!? Let's look at how to make money off a blog without sending traffic away from our site!
Creating a digital product is relatively easy and can come in the form of online Courses, eBooks, Audiobooks, Apps, Memberships, online Coaching or Consulting services.
Whatever you choose you need to make sure it is what your visitors would be interested in. Never assume anything! Oftentimes what we ‘think' our readers would want or need is rarely never the case. Don't be afraid to ask your visitors or subscribers what they would be most interested in and go from there!
