STEP 1
Optimize your account
(1) Create the account
- When singing up by email, use an aged email otherwise Instagram may mark it as spam and delete the account right from the get go
(2) Choose a good brandable name
- Keep it short and snappy
- You can use the following ChatGPT command to give you some ideas:
- COMMAND 1: Give me some cool memorable usernames for an Instagram account about (TOPIC) (e.g. motivational quotes for businesses)
- COMMAND 2: Keep it more short and snappy
(3) Create a simple but effective profile Image in Canva
- Use a plain black background, add your Text (just use a font that's a good fit for your niche), and add a Glow Effect on the text
(4) Optimize Your Bio
- Just look at a bunch of high performing accounts in your Niche and make your bio similar to theirs.
- Keep it simple and to the point and don't try to overcomplicate it
STEP 2
Finding viral content
(1) Optimize Your Explore Page
Go to IG and search a topic related to your Niche
- For example: If you're going to be posting content related to business and motivation, then you can search ‘motivational quotes', then go over to the Reels tab
Look through here to find content that's performing really well, then you can like and save that content.
- Also note down the best performing accounts you find
Do this for a couple of days straight, so that way you have your account optimized nicely, because if you check out your explore page after doing this for a few days you'll see all the best content for your Niche being shown to you, and this is exactly the content your followers will want to see.
- There is so much viral content out there for every Niche and this content is gold and what you need to be basing your own content off of. You don't want to waste your time trying to re-invent the wheel when it comes to content creation; there is a ton of content already out there that is already proven to work.
(2) Find Trending Content
Find 5 high-performing competitors in your niche, and find their best content
- When you are on their page, click on Reels, and then scroll down and find the content that stands out amongst the rest in terms of it's performance. You'll start seeing how many views their videos get on average, and you'll stand to notice the ones that really stand out that have so many more views
So if an account's Reels on average are getting a few hundred thousand views, but as you are scrolling you see videos that have millions of views , then these are their best performing content and you want to be saving them because they will help you grow your account
- So just click on the content and click SAVE and you're good
Do this for around 5 competitors and you are going to rack up a bunch of proven videos that have gone viral in your niche
- Don't try to be creative and come up with your own ideas; you don't want to reinvent the wheel from the start, you can do that later once you establish a big following. For now you want to use the content out there that's already proven popular in your niche as that will catapult your growth.
STEP 3
Creating and Posting your content
(1) Download Viral Content
- When you've found a high-performing Reel from one of your competitors pages, click on it and copy the URL.
- Now go to Google and search “Instagram Reel Downloader” and you'll find a bunch of sites for this, so i'm going to use this one
- So paste the URL and click to download it
(2) Create Your Own Unique Version
We now need to use a video editing software
- If you are on Windows, you can use the free ClipChamp software.
- If you are on Windows or Mac, you can use the free CapCut software.
So open whichever software you are using, and just upload the video you downloaded to the timeline
Now make the following changes to make your video different to the original:
So we are going to do the exact same thing as the original video, but we're going to use different (but similar) video clips throughout the video. Since you are using different video clips throughout for the whole video, then it makes your version original.
For Example:
- If the first 5 seconds of the video are showing a beach, then you can download a beach video and use that instead. Then if the next 5 seconds are a sunset, then download a different sunset clip and use that. So just continue to do that for the rest of the video.
You can find video clips to use on Pinterest. So on Pinterest search BEACH HD, then find one you like and copy the URL.
- Then head over to google and search ‘Pinterest Downloader' and using one of those sites you can paste that URL and download the clips you want to use.
So another thing you can do to stand out from the competition is use a different font for the text on your videos.
Use the auto-captions feature in your chosen video editing software, and then just change up the font to make it different.
NOTE: If you want to use the Auto-captions feature, this is only free on ClipChamp, whereas on CapCut it's a premium (paid) feature.
You can use a different filter which is currently being used by everyone else.
- For example, you may choose to use a black and white filter on all your content to make it stand out from the competition
Some people for example use snowflake overlays on their videos, so doing something like this is another way to
make your content different from the rest
Creating your content in this way really helps give you a growth boost and you'll start to see what works as you go along.
(3) Post Your Content between 6-9pm (USA-time)
- A good market to target is the US, so you want to target that time zone.
- The best time to post on Instagram for the best results are 6-9pm (USA-time), as these are the hours with the highest engagement.
- Keep in mind you will need to know what time this is in your local time, so for me since i'm from the UK I would search in google: ‘what time is 6pm USA time for the UK'
- So if you post this proven viral content during the peak USA times, every single day, this will really help you grow your following

NOTE:
- There are many fake accounts; the only real one has the username bosslist

(2) Go to the Following List and follow 25 accounts from that list
(3) Wait 60 seconds
(4) Repeat Steps 2-3 until you've followed all the people in the list (this will take roughly 5 minutes)
(5) Once you've followed everyone on the list, wait at least and hour and then unfollow them. The reason we unfollow them is so that we can use this method over and over again.
NOTE: You can do this daily, but don't go overboard with it as Instagram has limits on the amount of people you can follow and unfollow each day
